HTML sigs

since we are not with ezboard anymore & have a phpbb which has no limitations is there any chance that we members could have a html sig?

I don't think there's any need for that, and personally I don't want them. What is there that can't be done with BBCode? Remember the sig shouldn't be very big, so if you're thinking for example a table made in html -- forget about it!

Yeah, stuff like images and links can be done with BBCode pretty easily, and I can't really think of many other HTML things you'd need for a signature.

Yeah, the only stuff you wouldn't be able to do is obnoxious stuff that shouldn't be in sigs anyway.

Hmm, maybe I'll make myself a sig sometime ...

Well I couldn't put a nice pretty coloured box around my signature because that can't be done with BBCode, but given the chaos that HTML sigs could bring I think it's a small price to pay.
