This movie is brilliant! Awesomeness at it's best! This is what a 3D art should be! What do you think about this James Cameron latest baby?

Such an epic move deserves a separate thread. Strangely how nobody talks about it. Watch it on IMAX (if by any chance you didn't already).

Heh, me and some of my mates were going to make the 45 minute drive to go see it in 3D. Most of us couldn't make it tho. :P
I am remaining hopeful that it should be good, despite critics saying that the art is the best part of it. Hell, even if it is, still worth a look.

I've heard that the special effects are great, and that it's about a group of evil Americans who hop across space but can't get the hang of mining without devastating the surrounding area. Or, for that matter, not mining at all since a gigantic space voyage would be rather impractical just to get a few tons of rock.

I'd prefer for a Keen movie to be made with stylized 3D animation.

If it was animated; I personally would love to see a Keen movie done with traditional \ hand drawn animation.

I agree with Lava89, Keen should feel like a cartoon. :)

Saw it at the Seattle IMAX theatre in 3d. Visually its pretty damn awesome. I really had to resist the urge to try to swipe away the ash in some scenes, the 3d was that great. The story was alright; far from bad but could have used some refinement.

I might finally go to see it today or tomorrow -- but one thing: do you need some sort of 3D glasses?? I guess the cinema will provide them. And if you already wear glasses do you wear those on top of them? (Won't look nerdish at all... 8))
