Bumpage.
I've been listening to 100.3 The Sound's A-Z essential rock the past few days, hearing some awesome songs and bands I hadn't heard before.
Status Quo - Pictures Of Matchstick Men
This song is blowing my mind right now, regardless of how simple it is.

Live in 2009 and still kicking ass:

Grass Roots - Midnight Confessions
It was nice to finally get a name for this song and band I'd remembered as a kid.

Loverboy - Lovin' Every Minute of it
Pretty much just awesome 80s rock from I band I hadn't heard of before.

UFO - Love to Love
Previously I'd only heard a few UFO songs and wasn't impressed, but now I'm interested in checking them out further.

I've been watching Breaking Bad (awesome show, btw)
recently and the song DLZ by TV on the Radio was in one of the episodes. Hadn't listened to them in forever so it was nice to hear something new.

I've known about this one for awhile but thought I'd post as its sure to garner some fans here. Glorious Dawn by Symphony of Science ft. Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking. Pretty beautiful.

The song "We Are All Connected" is also awesome.

Also, apparently one of my favorite bands, Abney Park, released a new album last night; I didn't even know they had a new one in the works
Ordered mine
This is the only song I could find from the new album, its okay, the didgeridoo is the best part.

Edit: Just got to the R's in The Sound's playlist. Remedy by the Black Crowes just played and damn, this rocks so much harder than any Black Crowes I've previously heard.
