"Fields" by Junip

BEAUTIFUL album.

Had the Rope & Summit single long ago. My Mum just got the Album not knowing that I liked the band. Yes, my Mum has an awesome taste in music!

So yeah, just heard the album. Has in places some elements of King Crimson.

Thoughts?

Sounds nice, I can hear what you mean with King Crimson elements, although this is far more laid back.
From my first impression, it's possible that the whole album is a bit monotonous, as every song seems to have the same dynamics, speed and volume, but I might be wrong.
All in all, definetly worth listening to.

I can see where you get the monotony impression from, but the album changes quite pleasantly throughout. It starts like Crimson but then moves on. Even gets some electronica influences in to it by the end.
It's not at all boring. It's kinda like Radiohead's Kid A in some way. Most specifically In Limbo haha :P
