America had Batman, Spiderman, Superman etc. We had Superted, Bananaman and Danger Mouse! Where would you prefer to grow up? ;)

Australia :P We imported Superted, Trapdoor, Thomas the Tank Engine, and produced Plasmo (probably one reason for my interest in space) and Play School.

Ours is still going! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Play_Schoo ... TV_series) An yes, it would seem that two years after the UK, Australia copied. Heh, that was before the Australia Acts - we were, legally, a lot more English back then :P
I never saw Danger Mouse - what's it about?
