Ah. So she killed him while wearing the space suit. Doesn't explain the regeneration, unless she's part Time Lord. Which doesn't make sense yet, unless Amy's baby belongs to the Doctor. Also explains how River is also a doctor and can fly the same Tardis just like the Master. Perhaps the doctor uses her body to continue living past his regeneration limit in a similar way that the Master had. Still don't get how River is in prison or must be returned to prison at the end of that episode, since few actually witnessed the murder or had the ability to capture her after that. My guess is that River and the Doctor are the same person, and the confusion is to prevent a paradox.

But his personality does change slightly after regenerating into a new body. Although at least the normal process keeps him a dude.

Also, it would make him married (probably) to himself. Or herself, as the case may be.

Ah that's right. So yeah my guess isn't too likely. Although the Doctor does lie occasionally to manipulate people. Although telling a lie that you're married to someone would only generate more questions and be counter productive. The Doctor marrying his daughter would be unlikely also.

Well the kid already knew how to regenerate. The last episode said that the suit could feed her just using sunlight, having weapons and communication systems also. I wonder why she has a need for it is all. She didn't build it herself as she was scared when the suit captured her. They made it seem like the Silence made it though.

The Silents also went out of their way to raise the girl in that children's home, so they apparently had some use in mind for her. Perhaps they wanted her to kill the Doctor.

Does anyone know where I can watch the first episode of this series online? I thought I had it recorded but it clashed with Top Gear and it's not on iPlayer anymore...

Netflix or however you spell it has at least up through series 5.
For series 6, you could try YouTube but it's probably not legal.

Rory will be leaving at the end of the series apparently - not sure how they'll write him out...
