Finally a movie worth seeing, this is was the first movie I've been to in 2008, I think. I recommend it highly!
They've probably shown it for some time already abroad, but here they started screening it only few days ago. It's about freedom and adventure and nature and such things.

I should see this, considering it's about a kid who went to my university.

It was definitely a great movie. Sad ending, though...

Guess I'd better post something about this. I watched it a few weeks ago, and found it quite enjoyable. A very well made film with a solid moral and some marvelous scenery, with a good deal of emotional depth thrown in to bring it alive.

Aye. I've taken interest in this Supertramp to the point I've ordered the book written about him by Jon Krakauer. I hope I'll receive it soon...

I've bought it too as a dvd, though I bought it at the first place I found it, for about 18 euros.

Our school's lit class read this book at the very beginning of freshman year, when I wasn't going there, so I never read it. Maybe I should.
