What Music Are You Listening To?
Melvins are okay, I like that album with the horse on it (forgot the name right now), but the later more pleasing stuff is not really on my favourites list.
Disintegration is a great Cure album, if not my favourite too. I've listened to Pilgrim but didn't like it, Clapton's music has become rather meaningless in the late nineties I think, and at times even awful (Tears in Heaven).

I'm listening to The Cure's Japanese Whispers now, which I got from an op shop for $2 last week! Been listening to them since I was about 8 but I still have a LOT to hear!
I also picked up Radiohead's Creep EP at the op shop, as well as the Les Miserables soundtrack, which is nowhere near as good as what my local theatre company put on but still enjoyable.

You guys had best all be fans of Ireland's best musical export (Thin Lizzy - not U2 although they're good too)... this really is top notch classic soulful rock, hard to beat!!

Word Benvolio. 'Still in Love with You' has always been a favourite of mine. I got a pretty sweet live version of it, and I'm always coming back to in a certain mood.
But now I'm more in the mood for another Lizzy favourite of mine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHA3EZHvSWg

Although I'm a fan of almost all of their albums, VNV Nation's Solitary EP has recently caught my passion.
VNV Nation's music ranges from powerful yet melodic electro-industrial songs to emotional, even melancholic electropop. If you like that sort of music, I recommend you to try songs like Further, Honour, Testament, Chrome, Solitary, Electronaut, and Forsaken.
