After Forever, Epica, Within Temptation vary from bad to average in my opnion. The only Dutch band I 'somewhat but not much' like is Ayreon.
Waitwaitwaitwait. Ayreon is DUTCH?!

Good answer.
I enjoy Within Temptation, and consider Ayreon an excellent band. However, Ayreon and other bands who create complex structured music (and even some who don't) do seem to attract intellectually elitist types who look down on bands like AC/DC as 'silliness'.

Intuition - Remember Me (Stronger, 2007)
I heard these guys on Digital Gunfire, and downloaded an album. This is some great music, and I shall purchase some of their work in the near future.

Röyksopp -
Someone Like Me
Well, not their best song, but it happens to be what's currently playing from their The Understanding album.
