To put it in simple terms, damned if you should care. I deal with the public in the same way I get through giving speeches: 1. No one really cares, 2. you'll be forgotten entirely within five minutes, and 3. anyone who does take some perverse pleasure out of harassing you for it is already worse off than you are and can be ignored.KeenRush wrote:Good question. They aren't anybody I know, but just something general opinion or hostility, manifested in people selling the tickets and people seeing one stepping into theatre room about to show such movie. It can be I'm imagining things, not having been to see such movie. It's just so that here it's unusual for adults to see those kids' movies, at least if one isn't accompanied by one's own kids, garg knows what they think of the people who come to see those movies on their own. It's unfair, and I don't want to be thought of in that way.

I saw WALL-E last night. It is one of the best movies I have seen in a loooong time. It was a beautiful story and the characters were so wonderful, and it just left me feeling good.
And KeenRush, I'm going to simplify what I said earlier: SEE THE MOVIE, DAMN IT. It will be worth having a bunch of losers you don't know look at you funny, believe me.

Yes. You still got linked to Rickroll while expecting something else, and followed said link not expecting it to be a Rickroll.Commander Spleen wrote:ROFL. Congratulations LJH, you've taken my Rick Roll virginity. Although, does it count if I closed it as soon as I saw the title and didn't let it load?

No you're not.CK Guy wrote: Also: am I a bad person for laughing at the 'kiddie porn dungeon'?
I watched The Great Escape for the first time ever a couple weeks back. It's a classic film and it's not too surprising I guess that I liked it a lot.
The last movie I saw in theaters was The Dark Knight...that was a very good film, and definitely one of the best of the Batman movies (not as good as the 1966 Batman movie though )

Bumpity bump.
The last movie I saw was Burn After Reading. I found it to be absolutely hilarious. It was a bit like Fargo, but even more so. In fact it even had the star of Fargo in it, as well as John Malkovich which is always a big plus.
Anyway, it gets two thumbs up from me, if that means anything to anybody.

Twilight is one of the very, very few vampire movies I have enjoyed so far (apparently one common thread to this pattern is Anne Rice). Saw it twice--at the cinema after watching a DVD-rip at home. *shrugs*CK Guy wrote:Twilight lol.
I also watched Burn After Reading recently. Hilarious and well crafted. Last night was The Wackness, which was intriguing. The day before I watched the disturbing and brilliant Teeth.
I couldn't stop screaming because Edward was so wonderful, so I got thrown out before the movie ended.CK Guy wrote:Twilight lol. This just in: KeenRush is actually a 15 year old girlKeenRush wrote:I saw that too, I liked it a lot! Malkovich was great as always.

Oh noes, not Twilight...! Saw it at the cinema with my girlfriend. She really liked it... But I didn't, considering the fact that I couldn't hear what they said on the movie becouse of everyone screaming all the time. I guess that's the worst cinema experience I've ever had.. (The movie made me afraid of vampire movies too, even though I know this movie doesn't represent the rest of the vampire-genre. I heard that Let the right one in is a masterpiece for example)
What's so shocking in it? (Haven't seen it and don't care to...)

The two main shocking scenes are someone getting bludgeoned to death by getting hit in the face repeatedly with a fire extinguisher, and another very long scene (9 minutes) of anal rape that was done all in one shot without the camera moving.KeenRush wrote:What's so shocking in it?
