I once saw exactly that rape scene as i went to visit a friend of mine. I was watching this movie and he has a beamer, so yes it is pretty graphic.

I saw "Storm" yesterday, and... Oh gosh, it's so good. If you manage to get some spare time, which you don't know how to spend. Watch Storm.

Storm at IMDB.

I'm not recommending looking the movie up on Wikipedia though. It makes the movie look cliché.
I found a trailer for it on YouTube as well, but I don't recommend it. It makes the movie look like one of those ordinary action-movies... Which it ain't, of course.

The last movie I've seen was Doubt, with Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

It was good, but I don't think it was spectacular.

Sorry about digging this old topic up, but I guess it's ok with a topic like this. :dopekeen

Anyway, I just saw that Wall-e (on dvd), and haven't seen anything that depressing for a while. The whole more or less robot-controlled/self-functioning society was a nightmarish sight. I hope I don't have to become part of such a thing, ever. I mean, a society that's more robotic than it's already! :dead I don't know if the movie had any message or not, but to me it was like that whatever we do and build, we have no hope; we wreck it, start again, and the same repeats. No purpose, no end.

There were some funny ideas there, though. For example the scene where the captain used his own legs. :D Or the broken umbrella robot. And the ending credits were pretty cool.

It would have been better, perhaps, if Wall-e had not recognized that other robot again, like having become blank, its former personality lost along with the new parts. But it's of course understandable many viewers want a happier ending.

I didn't see any reason for them to go back to farming when they could just stay on their ship, get in shape, order the ship's computer to come up with a VR system for them, climb into tanks and have simulated adventures for the rest of their lives.

Yeah, and its release was pretty well known. (I question the seriousness of that question... :stoned )

I saw Star Trek. It was excellent. :D

Yes I do. Why, are there other "Angels & Demons" titled movies out there? :confused

A rather late viewing of Star Trek.
