Found this out tonight while looking up old games.
Not sure how I feel about "remasters" that look the old games themselves, but maybe (just maybe) there will be new retro-platformers out of Apogee.

Surprise: Secret Agent HD is now out. I've only had a chance to quickly look at it, but it seems to be pretty similar to Crystal Caves HD, but with a more adlib-by soundtrack.

And it has a newly coloured/shaded version of our favourite teddy bear, which is neat:
