Anyone played Gazillionaire?

I found the demo back in 2003 searching the web for abandonware and freeware games. It was most enthralling, but the demo expired and I didn't have the means nor inclination at that point to purchase the game. By the time I did, the name had long since escaped my memory.

A week ago, via a friend's comment on my Facebook status, I was re-introduced to it. It is now one of my all-time favourite strategy games.

Never heard of it. And judging from the screenshot not my type of game. Far too financial.

Ooh, ooh! I do! Though I had (er, HAVE) "Gazillionaire Deluxe" and it was all in Dutch. I LOVED this game, even though it was so simple and a typical Windows 3.1 game. I also loved its cheesy sounds and funny art style.
