It is.It might be easier to just emulate the n64 one.
I'd like to get a Futurama mod going. Here's what I've got so far:

no i went out and brought a legit copy i want to play the legit version emulating the n64 game is not legal. i have updated my graphics drivers that didn't work i updated directx that did not work either i would try the microsoft xp emuulator but i cannot use it as i am using the home version of windows 7. my widescreen monitor shouldn't have anything to do with the problem should it? anyone know of any freeware xp emulators that are compitable with windows 7 home?RoboBlue wrote:It might be easier to just emulate the n64 one.

True, but I doubt dosbox users' practice of repeatedly copying old games that they purchased back in the 90s to many different computers that they themselves own for their own private use is technically legal.Rorie wrote:no i went out and brought a legit copy i want to play the legit version emulating the n64 game is not legal.
As far as XP goes, couldn't you just install it on a partition and run it that way?

If you have the XP disc you should be able to install it in Virtual PC. If not the Win7 one then the 2007 version.... actually I'm not sure if that has a 64-bit version. I think it does.
Also: VMware is an option
OR a very well constructed DOS Box boot </nigh on impossible>

i would not have the slightest clue how to do that. i would have to ask my sisters bf to do that for meRoboBlue wrote:True, but I doubt dosbox users' practice of repeatedly copying old games that they purchased back in the 90s to many different computers that they themselves own for their own private use is technically legal.Rorie wrote:no i went out and brought a legit copy i want to play the legit version emulating the n64 game is not legal.

There IS a freeware version, you just have to hunt for it. You just have some limited functionality is all. I mean in regards to creating certain VMs and all. It doesn't limit the OS.
