ok i brought the game but am having graphic issues i have the latest directx. can anyone help me out. the game is running which is a good thing the video cutsences are ok it's just the graphics thar are playing up on me

It might be easier to just emulate the n64 one.

no i went out and brought a legit copy i want to play the legit version emulating the n64 game is not legal. i have updated my graphics drivers that didn't work i updated directx that did not work either i would try the microsoft xp emuulator but i cannot use it as i am using the home version of windows 7. my widescreen monitor shouldn't have anything to do with the problem should it? anyone know of any freeware xp emulators that are compitable with windows 7 home?

True, but I doubt dosbox users' practice of repeatedly copying old games that they purchased back in the 90s to many different computers that they themselves own for their own private use is technically legal. :P
As far as XP goes, couldn't you just install it on a partition and run it that way?

If you have the XP disc you should be able to install it in Virtual PC. If not the Win7 one then the 2007 version.... actually I'm not sure if that has a 64-bit version. I think it does.

Also: VMware is an option

i would not have the slightest clue how to do that. i would have to ask my sisters bf to do that for me

There IS a freeware version, you just have to hunt for it. You just have some limited functionality is all. I mean in regards to creating certain VMs and all. It doesn't limit the OS.

i know that this thread is over 5 months old under the previous admins they did not like you digging up old topics but i have reason to dig this up again. anyway i mounted xp on the vmplayer. but to play sote i do not want to have to install on the xp image. is there a way to add to the image without having to install it again? i have played around and cannot find an option to do this
