It's been a long time since I've played Dark Colony, so I don't remember story details, but that could be it.

Excellent, tulip :p

Maybe it wasn't as good as other strategies of that period, but it still has some kind of appeal. I guess it's the overall dark and gloomy atmosphere. And the creepy animal noises you hear during the night on Mars...

I couldn't figure out that game when I played it... I wasn't even sure how to build structures.

Was it the Mournament of Mars, some apogee game back in the late 80s?
My Commander Keen life, started a long time ago - on a nice and beautiful sunny day back in the year 1994. I was only six years old back then. I used to play it alot on a then 815MB HD, 32MB ram computer.... Oh that was these days.... Now I'm 24. :)

Bumping an old thread because why not. Now, here is one hard DOS game for you:

The question is from which game it is? If you don't know the answer, but decide to google it, please wait 3 days before replying in case anyone else knows it.

Prehistorik 2!

Such an amazing game. Along with Keen 6 and Prince of Persia, this game was the staple of my platforming experience back when my family had a 486.

Since I can't let this go, even though it was 4 years ago, this:
So many ways to die.
Is from Space Quest 3.

I would love to know the two new ones posted, especially the first one. Looks interesting..

Yes, lemm guess it: The Blues Brothers 1. There's a sequel which sucks. But the first one you can try it. It's hard, but interesting.

The first one I'll reveal tomorrow in this post.

That's correct. It's also been a heavy influenced my EGA artwork.
