What? You assume it's going to be bad because it was made by a fan? By extension that must mean you have low expectations for BotB, so I'll make sure Ceilick withholds it to spite you

I feel better that it's a fanmade game, instead of nintendo using it as a cash-whore.

No, the first and foremost assumption is that it's going to be an official Nintendo-made sequel. And that could possibly have had the side effect (hope) of maybe Mother 3 being (officially) translated in the process.
