Yeah, I had the CD. It didn't work on my mac though :'(

10 years later I played the trilogy on ZDoom.

Speaking of which. Wolf3d is free on iOS. It's not too shabby compared to the dos version. Controls aren't bad, except you can't run or strafe, but it runs very smooth.

Aw, yeah......

I played Chex Quest before I even knew what DooM was. Rice Chex consumption in my house went through the roof for a while, just so my brother and I could get that game!
What's the point of growing up if you can't be a little childish sometimes?

Nowadays it would be even cheaper to distribute something like ChexQuest (just put a web address or a DLC code on a slip of paper), so why hasn't there been an attempt to replicate the success of ChexQuest?

It wouldn't even have to be a Cereal-themed game, as I'm sure many of us would gladly buy Fruit Loops to get a free digital copy of Sonic 2, or Count Chocula for free Arkham Asylum DLC.

I still have the CD and I also played it before Doom. And I used to think Chex Quest was like Wolfenstein 3D.

I don't play the five levels much now though because I got doom builder shortly after finding Doom and I play my own levels.
