Does anyone remember Claw?
How about a Keen4/Claw hybrid?

Haha, nice Toy Story reference, Levellass

Slayterdawg, do you mean this game?

I've heard good things about it, but never tried it myself.

Yes that's the game.
I have 2 copies.
1 in German (I don't understand a word),
the other is the DVD version with awesome music.
I have not completed the game.

If you have Gruntz, there's a demo of it on there. The demo's also on fileplanet, and the full version may be out there if you search hard enough for it.
There was something here, but my yorp ate it.

Can you be more specific about how to make a hybrid out of these?

Because although Captain Claw is 2.5D side scroller, its perspective is reversed to the Keen one. Both games are very different. Claw is using much bigger sprites and is differently animated. Also I think is using 32x32 tiles and higher resolution VGA graphics.

You can check out some ripped sprites here: http://spriters-resource.com/pc_computer/CaptainClaw/

What this game always reminded me of was Battery Check.

Well I thought you would come up with this where we discussed Toxic Bunny. Yet, Battery Check is, unfortunately, a garg using JJ2 engine. And you cannot compare it to Captain Claw just because.

You seem to dig deep in to these kind of odd games. By chance, you maybe were looking for JJ2 alternatives and come up with this. Do you know any other JJ2 engined games or similar to it? I know one more JJ2 engined game. Still crap though.

I know of two more. One was a horrid animaniacs themed game and one was a weird game about a guy in a spacesuit walking around generic busted building land. I had them both once but do not anymore and have not been able to find anything about them since.
