Is there a demo for the new ROTT? I just want to play a few levels to check it out.

Same here. I've been looking all over the place for one. I don't think it exists.
Boy do I miss the shareware days. :'(

Giving people a release-quality sample for FREE? Insanity!

Yes, only for the rest of the game to suck. That's what was so bad about many shareware games, you'd get an awesome free episode that made you purchase the rest of the game that was simply nowhere near as good.

I'm very much glad the shareware days are over, now we have better quality control usually.

Really? Can't say that ever happened to me at all. All I got was sheer undiluted awesomeness continuation. Do you have some examples?

Also, look at modern games. We don't have better QC, all we have is the internet to tell us how cruddy games are before we waste money on them.

Also, I submitted content for this article, but we were not mentioned, and we should have been! http://www.cracked.com/article_20672_5- ... games.html

I finally played the ROTT remake. It ran too slow on my computer for me to make a decision as to whether it's good or not.
