Silly rules and restrictions
Turns out "blacksabbath" is a banned character name in Diablo III! diablo.gamepedia.com/Diablo_III_Banned_Character_Names
I've not played the game, just found that, and the other banned names, interesting. Blizzard has been very bad too: http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2014/04/b ... nt-policy/
But yeah, anyone else got some favourite silly game rules or restrictions from games? I always found the AoE 1-2 population limits frustrating, but there's probably hardware reasons behind that.

Keening_Product was defeated before the game.

I don't know if this is related, but recently, as I watched the Gametrailes.com intro and pausing, I was surprised to find this: http://oi61.tinypic.com/znk805.jpg . You can check that intro in most of their videos. I posted this to their forum and surprisingly, it wasn't deleted, nor I have been banned.

lol this list is hilarious, half of the words I don't really get whats the problem about them. I didn't think people working at blizzard were such uptight suckers, but whaddya know, fits in to the prejudice about the us.
"lingerie" - get out that's an outright bdsm term I guess
Also "bi" - does that mean any word containing the combination of those two (!) fairly common letters are banned?
"menstrual" seems to be so bad it has to be banned twice, but get ready for the foulmouthed winner of all the bad words "supermario"
That all reminded me of a german phone company forum where somebody asked a normal question about something which was totally mutilated by a bad word filter, that decided the word "dick" - german for "thick" should be replaced by "peep"

My question is, are the rules silly, or are people? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -pass.html
'Oh no! This series of numbers on my boarding pass could be spotted by someone who might think ill of me! Quick, add a rule to your program banning it!
