But didn't they put a mercy core (or something) in her to stop her from gassing the place.

True, but maybe that core was just able to stop her from realising the gas.
There's no other way I could explain why the place was deserted and GlaDOS tried to bake Chell.

Well the computer DOES say, at two points in the game, that it is, can or will send someone for you. (The "If you pass out" part in the level that will take a "Very VERY long time." and right after you "escape.")

I never believed for a second that I ever "escaped." It seemed too... like not to make sense. Like "Oh why is there this hammer-piston smashing this wall again? Oh yeah... to waste energy."

Or. "Why is this tiny, back room not only filled with debris from Half Life 2 (cinder block, barrels and some other junk.) but also has automated turrets?"

I did like the "Help" stations. They had everything somoene needed in order to survive. Food, water, and videogames. :lol

And does anyone notice that the 360 version doesn't anti-alias? That made me mad.

True but GlaDOS is a liar. I really don't know what to think.

I played and finished it in one day! Damn, this is some good stuff.

I liked the end, with the orbs. "What's that? What's THAT? Ooh, what's that? Oh, you're the lady from the test! Hi!" :P

I started playing this yesterday. Haven't completed it yet, but I get the impression I'm close.

The game is incredibly brilliant and humorous, an excellent use of an FPS engine. And quite a satisfying head trip on many occasions.

I miss my weighted companion cube. Life will never be the same. :(

:rolleyes Take it easy! :crazy Everyone speaks like its humour and stuff is something never seen before. Is it really so that it's the first in the FPS genre to use (intentional) humour?

Not the first but one of them. And I wouldn't really call it a FPS because you don't kill enemies, you solve puzzles.
