I've forgotten the name of the game!

Post by ZidaneA »

Yes, I've got a problem. I suddenly got a flashback of me playing an old 2D platformer, like Commander Keen, but I don't recall the name of the game.

I'll just tell you everything I remember of the game:
You play as a knight, you have no weapon (I think), and the levels consist of a castle (I think), and you can grab shields and golden goblets and such for points, the knight cannot swim.

Sorry if that was a bit blur...

Maybe Kings Quest? :p

No really, I have no idea. An Ultima game perhaps? Those weren't platformers but still. That description is extremely vague and I have never seen a game that remotely fits that description.

Galaxieretter: No, it's not Kings Quest :/ but thanks anyway!

Worth mentioning I played this when I was very young... I think the game is older than Commander Keen, since the graphics wasn't very advanced.

EDIT: Forget about what I said. The game is actually from '96. :crazy

Oh, garg! I found the game!

It's called "Last Knight in Camelot".

Thank you, Galaxieretter, your post inspired my search...

My whole life I remembered The Adventures of Lolo, Super Ghouls n' Ghosts, and McKids, but because their names were so generic I never remembered what they were called to look for them. Thanks to random youtube and screwattack videos I was finally given their names :)

I figured King Camelot at first, but then I read that you remembered! King Camelot is years older than Keen :old
