That's why the fans come up with absurd explanations for the writers' inconsistencies, like saying the bottle actually contained both liquor molecules and liquor anti-molecules.

Of course this would depend *how* you're using the alcohol as fuel. Certainly, fusing the hydrogen in it would let you blast one heck of a way, or maybe there's a subspace component. Or maybe it's a moderator. (Remember he also has a car battery and ion engine.) It's not like it's a glaring inconsistency in the world as it is, which has a rather cartoonish feel.
