Word Munchers

Post by VikingBoyBilly »

Remember these games? It started jumping the shark when he turned into super muncher and then got kidnapped and had to have a dog save him from a scientist and then he gained like 50 pounds for math munchers deluxe, but those were good times :)

I remember that being on the computers on my schools way back when, along with Story Weaver and Oregon Trail.

Oregon Trail was where it was at.
A white stick figure walking around on a black screen killing everything in sight.
And then the forests become depopulated.

Odell Lake. I'm a fish! There's a shark. *EAT* :(

The "Munchers" games were weird.

Man, in primary school, if you could beat the Munchers thing where you were the dog (you know the one ), you were frickin insanely awesome. Of course, no-one did the math, if you just hit enter repeatedly, it answered 0 to all the questions. The rest of the game was awesome though.

Seriously? You can beat it? I played the game for hours until it just looped over back to the beginning, which truly angered me :mad

Iunno, it's a bit hazy. It's been over 5 years since I last played it, longer since I last got that far.

I still break out Super Muncher from time to time for a nostalgia trip back to the elementary computer lab. Great game.
