Just thought I'd get the general opinion.

Good, and slowly but surely getting better. There are still the obvious bugs and incomplete sections right now, but I definitely think the whole program is reaching an 1.0 status, as they would call it in the open-source world. :)

I'm not sure what, exactly, it is. It seems to be followed excitedly by other PCKF members, and it has more colors than the original Keen... a replica of Keen? Then why the improvements? An improved Keen engine? Then why does it so closely follow the originals?

The basic goal is to allow us to play keen on different platforms, without using DOSBox. After that, if we can hve improvements then why not?

It's both a remake and an improvement, much like EDuke32: you can choose to include all the nice, new stuff, or you can play it like what it would have looked like in its original state.

I'll use it when it's an actual, full, complete release. I'm totally uninterested in all these teasers and testing releases.

They're actually fully working releases at this point, you know. Of course, every release keeps having improvements, but that doesn't mean the current version won't let you play the original games smoothly.

Don't worry, we are just working to fix some bugs that have shown up, then we will release v3.1 as a full version.

This thread really is a good idea pizza2004. Interesting to see that some people around here don't even know what CG is (!).

Cool, I have discovered this just today. Was a bit busy here and there.

There is code of Keen Galaxy engine, but yet nothing works. We are working on it, but the next release won't have it. This needs more time.

EDIT: Cool idea Pizza2004, thanks for opening that poll...

I'll judge it when an almost-final version comes out.
