Commander Genius Update

Post by gerstrong »

Here I will post all the Commander Genius updates.

I hope we won't open another thread for that...

Now we have version 0.3.2.1. Some more Galaxy progress can be seen, but not much and new nice effects are in the game.

This one has many improved stuff now. I hope you like it!

Mainly the palette patch for mods work and we provide much better Sound

Great version! Two bugs pointed in the video below:

Dunno if they were pointed before.

I also notice some lagging for no reason during my gameplay with default settings on win7 64 bit in full screen. It happens from time to time.

Two things, you made the video private, and the windows version isn't built for 64 bit, so we can't ensure perfect support for it.

Well thanks, for some reason transporters have always seemed to have bugs related to them. As far as the stunning thing goes, I had no idea and I will look into it.

64-bit Windows. I don't know. I could make a build, but I think Windows is still a bit too early for that. The 32-bit should work on every Windows just fine. We'll look on it.

Just tell us, what lags.

We also have Trac. Feel free to report found bugs there...

I know this is off-topic, but where can I get that remix of Bionic Commando music played in the video you posted? It sounds awesome.

That, and I figured I'm not the only one who (might) want to know.

@Grimson: Well, there are many ways. Go to http://www.bioniccommando.com/en. There's a music player on this site. You can listen to all the tracks and you can buy them from iTunes. Or if you prefer, search Simon Viklund heat wave (the name of the track). Or find the soundtrack on youtube. If you haven't played Bionic Commando Rearmed, I strongly suggest you to! It's incredibly fun and addicting game! And most of the tracks are very, very cool too.

The strange lagging happens, for example, in the level before the first teleport in ck1. Just play the level at the higher grounds and you may notice some lagging.I'm with latest nvidia drivers. As for the 64 bit part, this sluggishness happens on my virtual xp (which is 32 bit). I just installed CKG on it to test it on 640x400 16 bit color window mode (but I think it happens on any resolutions) and it lags the same way or even worse. Anyways.

Actually Gerstrong, he wants to know what has changed.

As far as I know, we haven't made any noticable changes to gameplay since version 0.3.1.2 got released. This, combined with our schedule of releasing this version a month from now have prompted me to delete this version. It is not the official version, and I wish Gerstrong would try to colaborate with his teammates before just releasing versions.

Releases are back to the server!!!

The Changelog tells what has changed. It's a minor update with some bugs fixed and reordered file reading system. It also opens the galaxy menu now.

Aren't those enough changes? We also improved the pixelation effect. Everything is written in the changelog file...

Every version is a change and are improvements, so even if you don't see by yourself the changes, because you didn't check the complete interpreter doesn't mean there aren't there...
