Commander Genius (Aka CloneKeenPlus) Forum
Hi guys,
I had a chat with Albert some weeks ago and we were thinking if it would be nice to have our own forum where people can talk about hints, secrets, bugs, the engine, programming section, style, and so on. What do you think? Would most of the people use our Forum if we created one?

You know I'm not against it but would it be fair?
Right now everything on the forums seems...
Not to be in the same area. I have a hard time keeping track of all the things going on here, which topic is the most current for the project etc. so I end up just... not participating in them.
And I'm apparently missing out on some of the best Commander Keen mods and projects ever made because of it.
A subforum would be nice. But perhaps a subform for development of things. Why not just a "Commander Genius" megathread or something? Then again the "Other Keen Stuff" forum was never really that active. Perhaps a reworking of all the forums and subforums are in order?

I hear ya on this, there are multiple clone keen topics in the unnofficial keen games, other keen stuff, and release forum sections. If Clone Keen doesn't get it's own subsection, we at least need it confined to one topic (probably in the unnofficial keen games section) until it's final release. Releasing every new version in the release forum under it's own topic is impossible to keep track of and needless if it's going to just be updated again.Galaxieretter wrote:Right now everything on the forums seems...

I started a forum for Commander Genius, it was simply needed, a subforum is a nice idea, but we wouldn't be in charge of it, and it would become terribly cluttered.
You can access it here: http://clonekeenplus.neejean.org/
Or if that one doesn't work, here: http://z6.invisionfree.com/CloneKeenPlus/
Feel free to come and join, and all team members are expected to register so that we can discuss things on there. The forum is set up in a way that will hopefully reduce clutter, and is convenient for everyone. It also links back to here, as well as to the modding forum, and the English and German Wikis, as well as the Modding Wiki.
