-Games that can stimulate casual conversation?

What are some of the most favorite games that can "stimulate" or invoke the kind of
conversations that might lead to a group of people having an enjoyable time, or an enjoyable
experience?

For example "UNO" it might just be a boring card game where players learn how to take turns,
while playing cards, except the way it allows players to learn is important in the sense
it provides a good experience and helps players eventually be able to move onto other things,
since they can take the prior knowledge they acquired from that game, and apply it to
various other areas, fields or realms -- taking that concept and applying it elsewhere.

Another is "RISK" maybe a board game that helps players learn several things;
being fair to people who came from several different backgrounds, and,
learning how to go from one place to another without making it difficult for everyone.
These types of games contain some of the basic tenants that are the premise of local culture
and a collaborative community.

Other kinds (of games) are taking nervous energy from the body, transfering that energy into
another format so that "nervous energy" doesn't get abused in a way that might cause harm
to the other people around. Basically taking energy and making it reroute through the mind
instead of directly through the body: is a clear way to demonstrate how spending energy in games
can prevent people and players from becoming violent, since they will feel they have already
done what they want -- and now there's not anymore tendency to abuse their physical energy in a way
that can damage people destructively.

Are there any other ideas or suggestions about this topic?
