Keen 1-3 Worldmap teleporters
Keen 1-3 Worldmap teleporters
So I'm working on a keen vorticons port and was wondering how keen 1-3 handles teleporters, blocking tiles, and that sort of thing. Also any documentation on keen 1-3 in general would be great. Thanks.

General information can be found interspersed among the patches on KeenWiki, which also has a few "tutorial" articles. File formats are described on ModdingWiki.
Teleporter linkage is described near the end of the teleporters patch. In Keen 1-3, map spaces can be made blocking until their level is passed by setting the high bit of (adding 0x8000 to) the level entry sprite, as noted on the map patch page. Tiles, however, are made blocking in the tileinfo.
