I'm not the creator of this tool, but I think the Keen community will find it useful. I tested it on an IBM Thinkpad T41, one of those ubiquitous 2000s era laptops that's completely DOS-compatible *except* for the sound card, making it unusable for DOS games - until now. Keen 4 works great, if you load the version that's patched by KingDuke to work with ATI cards: https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=54291. Most other DOS games also work well with a few exceptions that will hopefully be cleaned up as the creator is actively refining the tool in reaction to bug reports in the release thread.
Note: on laptops like this you may have to turn off some options in the BIOS to get EMS working. I had to turn off the Network Option ROM and the USB Legacy Emulation.
Theoretically you can use this tool to make even the most modern computer run Keen on bare metal, but when I tried this on my modern system with an RTX 3070 Ti, it didn't seem to fully support the EGA mode needed. This will require more research.
