Keen Awards 2022: Winners

Well, I'm long overdue in replying to this, but hey, better late than never.

I just wanted to say Congratulations to all the winners of the Keen Awards 2022, and thank you to everyone who voted for me in the 2 categories I was nominated in. The Best Non-Computerized Art category got pretty close in the end, but I was overjoyed when I saw that some kind soul out there broke the tie and granted me the victory! Thank you to whoever that was! I'm so happy to have earned a trophy for my art, those trophies look great as always! I'm also happy that some of the content I nominated won some awards too.

Anyway, glad you all liked my art! Hopefully more to come in the near future.

Yeah, it would be nice to have the Keen Awards happen this year, preferably sooner rather than later (Keen Day is less than a month away). I sent Grandy02 a PM a while ago, but he appears to have gone inactive. Perhaps an admin or mod could do it? (I considered doing it, but I'm not sure if I really want to commit to it...)

I was surprised and honored to see my single chapter of a fan story won an award, against the iconic comic by Mort too. Maybe this will motivate me to work on it more someday when I have time. Ah, the irony, I had planned and prepared so much because I hate incomplete loose ends and wanted to be sure there was a concrete conclusion. Now it has fallen by the wayside because of the demands of life. I used to have so much free time. It feels like years ago that I wrote that, although I guess to be fair it was a couple years prior to posting it that I initially came up with the ideas.

What inspired you to start writing your fan story, and what challenges have you faced in finding time to continue it amidst your other commitments?
