The prototype idea for Major Stryker was that he was going to be rescuing Duke Nukem and Commander Keen.

Huh! Here's something I didn't knew about Major Stryker!
Re: MILDLY NEAT -- For all your random Keenery needs!
Was digging some things out today and saw some of my old keen disks from back in the day.

Wow! Can you check the versions of these?

I was today years old when I discovered that Atroxian Realm's now-iconic soundtrack is appreciated by those outside of our community, and that it's made its way to the Doom-modding scene as well.

Will do. Are there known versions that are missing? I have played versions downloaded from the net over the years and never noticed any differences. I also have goodbye Galaxy on old mail order disks but it's at my parents house.

-Commander Keen 1, version 1.31 1/23/1990
-Keen 6 special demo version v1.0
-Keen Dreams - I don't see a version number in the game, but kdreams.exe has a modified date of 10/9/1992. This is the "shareware" version, which was distributed by various shareware companies after Sofdisk provided it with their magazine (its the full game, you're just encouraged to send money anyway lol)

Well, not long ago, someone found an early Keen beta by looking at his floppies. So you never know.

One thing I'd like to point out is the fact that all Doom maps that use AR music were in fact made by people who are also on PCKF, all of whom directly received permission from Gridlock to use the music.Lower IQ than 314 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2024 18:51 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNrK_ZChIkU

This includes the creator of MAP02 of THT: Threnody (Joe-ilya), who used to be active on PCKF, but also there's Modulation and Plerbtonia which were respectively made by me and Pandakeen (a.k.a Plerb) and use AR music in some maps.
