I recently came across a CD version of this game for sale, so I bought it as a collector's item. All files on the CD together add up to less than 1 MB, so it is a bit of a waste of a CD in terms of storage space

I have seen before that the game was originally released by Ark on floppy disk. This CD version seems to have come later, by Rhinosoft (a company that specialized in publishing Christian related media). The art insert has instructions on the back about how to install it in Windows 95 (like, instructions for how to exist Windows 95 to get to Dos to install it) so the CD version must have come years later, in 1995 or 1996 as a budget re-release. Also in regard to the budget nature of this package, the art insert seems to be literally copied from the cardboard packaging used for the floppy version, like instead of using whatever the source artwork was for the packaging, someone scanned the cardboard packaging itself, cropped it to fit a CD case, and then printed it. It is somewhat low resolution and you can see the texture of the cardboard if you look carefully at it.
The installed game files are all modified as of 1992, so I do not think any additional work went into the later CD version. I don't get the sense this is a version 1.1 or anything of that nature.
As others mentions, the game is almost identical to Jill other than some minor elements that have been reskinned, replaced, or removed. The levels are largely those from Jill ep 3 with some from ep 1 added in. I haven't completed a playthrough yet, maybe some from ep 2 are in here as well. There are some palette differences, for example the fire birds seem to be a brown gradient instead of red now. Some of the level blocks, such as dirt or grass look a little different to me as well. Unsure right now if its just a palette change or if the Jill blocks got a little bit more refinement, I'll have to look carefully at those to see. The spinning blade weapon has also been changed to a simple looking rock. It still behaves like the blade and makes the same sfx though, the graphics and movement are different from the rock used in Xargon, which also seems derivative of the spinning blade.
The credits basically include everyone who worked on Jill of the Jungle, plus Dave Snyder (not from Jill) for the concept. It seems to me then, that the couple of new levels in here, were likely done by Tim, the Onesimus character was probably drawn by John Pallet-Plowright, who is also credited for graphics for Jill, the music is credited to Dan Froelich (same as Jill) etc. So this is a little different from Super Noah's Ark, as I really get the sense that the only thing Ark Media did here was serve as an avenue for publishing, and maybe provided some tips about how the game could or should be changed to appeal to a Christian audience, and it was the same Jill team that then did the modifying work.
Onesimus seems based on the prince sprite from Jill 3 (or vice versa), though his clothes are a different color. So perhaps someone could tweak Onesimus's clothes in a mod and turn him into the prince from Jill 3. All of Onesimus's animations/sprites appear derived from Jill. So things like jumping, drowning, climbing, look highly similar. By the way, for Xargon, Tim provided a comment at one point during development, that some of the animations, such as the dying animation, looked too similar to Jill's and that they should be changed, so there really was a deliberate effort to distinguish Xargon's graphics and animations from Jill's for that project.
