If you are active in other spaces related to dos gaming, perhaps you've seen the trailer for the upcoming Biomenace remastered edition.

Anyways it looks great and I'm quite looking forward to this. It seemed relevant to have a thread here, especially since several of the people involved with the project are active in the keen modding community! Keep up the good work!
Biomenace 2025 remastered version
Re: Biomenace 2025 remastered version
Hey, thanks for creating this thread and linking to the store page!
I'll add the following details. I cannot promise I'll write much more on the topic anytime soon.
From what I think is currently known in the public: The main guy behind these efforts is Niko (lethal-guitar), the person behind the Rigel Engine. Bart, who's probably mostly known around here for his Dosgamert channel, should be known by now to work on marketing, i.e., promoting the remaster. Ivan (Roobar) of the PCKF is also involved, working on new art, and also building levels for the new episode. Finally, K1n9_Duk3's reconstructed BM sources have clearly been helpful.
More details may be found in Niko's first blog post on the topic: https://lethalguitar.wordpress.com/2025 ... emastered/
Personally, I learnt about this from Bart last February, albeit I suspect one may say there were earlier hints. So far, I think that most of what I've done for the remaster itself has involved varying instances of consulting, testing and technical assistance, based on knowledge about BM gained earlier. As for the rest, I guess only time will tell!
I do think there was a kind of a coincidental sequence or two of events that was leading to my involvement; That might remain for a separate forum post, so this one does not get longer.

It will be a paid product when we release it later this year. But it won't be expensive. We don't know the final price yet, but it'll likely be similar to Emberheart Games' recent Crystal Caves, Secret Agent, and Monster Bash Remakes.
