I'm very new here, and I'm definitely a much younger fan of keen than most (I'm late gen z and got into it very recently, so i never grew up with it)![]()
HOWEVER, I really find the games neat and I kinda planned on joining to show my fanart sooo,,, uhhh,, here it is! Oh! and I'll give some fun facts about them too![]()
For my first art and my first post, I might as well show off... my timeskip designs!
Something that's alway bugged me is, to my knowledge, we don't have an official conclusion to the story. What happens to Keen and Mortimer? Does Mortimer die? Do they both grow up normally? Does Keen really hang himself before the events of DOOM? You all probably know more than me, but, here's their designs from my take on their story as a newbie fan with minimal research. (Perhaps it's an AU)
William "Keen" Blazkowicz Jr., Age 21 (I was too lazy to draw his helmet as well as mortimer's as you'll see in a bit)
Football Captain and still the smartest in his class, Everyone in the universe (multiverse??) has heard of this man's heroic feats from the young age of 8. The Symbol on his shirt is a dove, and represents the forgiveness he is now willing to show others. Very traumatized, Burnout is frequent for him. His greatest fear is lack of closure to a situation.
Mortimer "Mortis" McMire, Age 21
A man being treated for Narcissistic personality disorder and sociopathy who sees himself as the lowest of the low, a failure, and a waste of potential. His iq and intelligence may be unchanged, but his burnout has led to him giving no effort in his community college work. From the day he began to speak, every word was a cry for help nobody could understand. His ties with his family are incredibly damaged after he attempted to kill his sister. Despite everything, He wants to be better, but even for someone as smart as him, that is a difficult task. the symbol on his sweater is a snowflake, representing the loneliness of winter, and the uniqueness of being one of the most intelligent people in the universe. He used to despise Keen, but now he sees him as someone to reach out to, a sliver of hope in his miserable life.
whew, that was alot. I hope you enjoyed reading their poorly strung together and likely horribly mischaracterized descriptions! If you did, I'll probably end up posting more :3 Byebye!!![]()
I had a good laugh when I read this! I can't unsee that now!jmfmagnum wrote: Sat Nov 22, 2025 21:41 it is me of that keen is going to ask me to sign a petition?
