It took me 67 years to grow this beard

So here I am playing Hocus Pocus, the first episode and im kicking butt. Im on level three and I feel like im walking a hundred miles for no reason on the top of the level, I said to my self "There must be a purpose." I then found the wizard knowing he would have something to say. What does he say??? It took me 67 years to grow this beard! IT TOOK ME 67 YEARS just to walk all the way over to say that. LOL

Any other users have classic pictures or in game stories to share?

Hilarious moment, though I also feel pity for you :o

Haha, yeah, I played through all 4 episodes, 2 in one day (that night I was dreaming of the game, and those little penguins and javelin eskimoes.)
Most of the time it felt like the whole point of the game was to make you get lost with repetitive level design.

Classic.

Another game I must finish sometime. Played through the first episode, but never got around to the rest of them after acquiring the full version.

No offense, but this game had one of the worst engines made for it's era. No offense to anyone who enjoyed the game I mean.

It was pretty lousy.

And no, I don't think I ever completed the first level... :foot

But yeah, that's pretty funny.

What got me was the rhyme 'Four potions you do see. Only one means victory.' Darn fantasy poem-speak.

The Oracle Janitor in the Pyramid of the Forbidden was a shocker too. Three weeks it took me to beat that level (I was very young.) And hey! Look at that! A secret council member! What awesomeness would he reveal?

...

Nothing? NOTHING at all? I think Keen spoke for both of us when he said 'I hope this is some sort of joke.'

AND IT HAD TAKEN ME ALMOST A YEAR TO STUMBLE ON THAT FOOT-INCHWORM THING!

Hocus Pocus might not have the best gameplay, but it has the best midi for title music in existence Image

PS: KR upload more emotikeens! :dead2

I found it out pretty early, but only because a cheat sheet readme file came with the game.

I think that's what that trail is, coming out the back of his cloak there...

I mean it just stretches the whole way underneath him.
Must be pretty dirty which is why he covers it up.

It's bonsai facial hair. After all, he never said it was 67 years UNCUT, only that it took that long to grow. He probably trimmed it to get it to look in good shape.
