(*) I have only played the demo version of Keen 6, and only passed the first level at that.
(*) I've never been to the secret levels in Keen4 and Keen5
(*) I already had a printout translation of the SGA by Tom Hall while playing Keen2 and Keen3, so I was able to read the signs before finding the secret level in Keen3.
(*) I didn't find the second princess lindsay (the one that tells you about the secret in the pyramid of the moons)
(*)I don't have game saves in episode 1 of my Commander Keen full pack on steam, because I finished the shareware I downloaded first.
(*)The first time I ever played commander keen was last summer, bought on Steam. (Hey, I was only 4 years old when the game came out, and my dad was religiously against windows operating systems) :o
(*) I honestly, truly want to pirate Keen 6. I just don't know where to find one. If there was a way I can buy it that's cool too.

Since when has ID been using Valve's servers to distribute their old games?

Since a while now. A few months ago a Keener showed us how the whole Keen series (minus 6) was being sold on Valve.
Wow look at me I'm lurking

Well, time to update my confessions list. I've now completed Keen 3. (yay!) I decided to stop being intimidated by the mangling machine and just do it. Not so bad once I tried. :o

First, I own legal versions of all Keen episodes.
  • Keen Dreams was the first episode I played, and I love it.
  • I haven't beaten Keen 2, 3, 5 and 6 so far.
  • I didn't get Keen 2, 3, 5 and 6 in the 1990s.
  • I own and have beaten Keen GBC, and I think it isn't the worst platform game.
  • Long time, when I was a child, I played the Keen games without knowing what they are about. I didn't speak English, and I didn't ask someone to translate the story. Anyways, there would be some reason why Keen visits aliens and moving vegetables...
  • I made quite many drawings as a child, but I don't know where they are now (but they are still somewhere...).
  • The Vorticons frightened me when I was around 8 or 9 years old. I let Keen jump only so many tiles high that only the feet of the Vorticon were visible, so I could navigate him to leave the platform and fall down. I even didn't know that the Vorticons are shootable before a friend just shoot four times against the alien being. :oops
  • Still, I can't read the SGA. *shame*
  • I didn't find out the trick with Inchworms and the big foot by myself.
  • I haven't been very active in the PCKF.
  • I've begun a mod in 2005, but I paused and still pause the making too often.

Anyone know what versions of Keen you get when you buy them through Steam? Too bad no Keen 6, though ... they only one I don't already legally own.

Hmm, I wonder if there is any record on how many people bought that 1-5 collection ...

I think someone else showed to me too that Vorticons can actually be shot. No idea who, though. Back then I was having enough problems to shoot things that required only one shot... (Such as yorps. :o)

@Grandy02: Hmmm, have you mentioned your mod before? Somehow I've forgot all about who was making what mod, and just now can't recall anything. Hope it'll be completed one day. 8)
