Minecraft

Post by Commander Spleen »

TerminILL/Draik introduced me to Minecraft last week. Long story short now I'm running a server, which those of us who frequent the IRC channel (except for Jerty) have been using to build some most spectacular structures.

Go grab an account, and then go here to connect to the PCKF server.

Here's some of the fun we've had so far:

Minecraft is awesome! I believe a Dopefish is in order.
(I wouldn't even know where to start with it though...)

Looks awesome! You've done great job! I've been visiting this game before, but for some reason, it crashes much on my pc. That's why I'm still considering whether or not buying this game.

Well, if you buy it now, it's cheaper than buying it later, so when the full stable release comes around, you'll already have it.

I haven't bought it though, don't have PayPal :P

What's the benefit of buying it?

Well, according to the website:
The Website wrote:Here's what you get:

* You never have to pay again!
You get all future versions of the game, including all expansions and addons.
* You help fund the development of Minecraft
* Custom skins in multiplayer
* Once you've bought the game, it's yours. No DRM.
* Survival mode!
So for our purposes, not much.

I have destroyed Genius314's house (but he rebuilt it later) and I also made a fortress in the sky. B)

Yes. Please never do that again.
The same goes for Spleen and Ckguy.
I don't waste my life playing this just so that people can destroy my work! :p

Hahaha. You shouldn't build so close to water.

I was building the Fucl-thingie from Paris Tantalus Center, when all of a sudden I got disconnected. Now I can't connect to the CK server to finish my work. :(
