Now THAT is what I call a huge level! Using the whole Guard Post One level as a secret area is a cool idea. The Keen 4 themed super-secret area rocks. :drool

Do you think we would get in too much trouble if we actually did something like this for Commander Genius? Because this would be an awesome way to choose which game to play, as well as being a good way to have options and editors. Plus then people could include an icon for their mods! Maybe if we removed the really obviously ripped off stuff, like the home button and the status bar, then we could make them slightly larger (32x32) and include some text below each icon to show what mod it is!
I hacked apart the image into sprites with the intention of building a better web interface, however, since the purposes are similar, I've zipped up the sprites and uploaded them if you want them:
iWatch.zip (81 KB)

Would it even still have the "made by wivn 2010" signature in the corner? :p
Man oh man, was it really any easier to doctor a giant image of this map instead of just... making the map? :crazy
I'm guessing the king sluggy and the foot aren't even in Keen 6 to do it with but they can be 'patced in' i suppose.

Actually, I downloaded the image and did some serious editing to get something more usable for Keen with larger icons. I ended up with this:

Although, I'm not entirely happy with it, because it doesn't look the best. There can be up to 6 letters in the text for a mod. So I'm still not sure this is what I want. But I might go with something of this sort for the final product.

Slight modification to pizza's image, removes the reflections at the bottom.
Edit: Or was that intentional?

I could easyly build that map and play it in my engine, but it wouldn't have all the actors in it unless I decide to write some Code for them.

When you said this looks like a good interface for CKP, I assumed you meant the general layout and not actually the Apple look... I'd love to see this in the classic wristwatch greens. Sort of neo-retro. :)

I don't know yet, as you can see what I designed is extremely rough and doesn't look very good. We are definitely going to have to go over it. Even if it doesn't retain the Apple look, I would like it to be a 'touch screen' wrist watch, as that looks so much cooler to me.

But touch screens required a bulky, cumbersome glove back then, didn't they? Or am I thinking early 1980s?

My grandpa had an old touch screen computer from the 80s which needed no such glove. I'm trying to remember what it's called/find it online...
