Isis II was unKeenish, to me, because it implemented different weapon types, shoot-to-break blocks, and on-the-fly swimming. None of those existed in a Keen game previously, and while I'm not saying Keen shouldn't be able to adapt and progress, I am saying the implementation was not done in a way I agree with.

I agree with this, it wasn't just the 256 colors. The health system was also a big change from the Keen games.

Also, Commander Keen Rebuilt - DO WANT. I'm kind of dissapointed Kazoo Hero hasn't shown up again. :(

Ah, the typical fan game phenomena -- although it affects mods too... 8) But not posting here doesn't meant he isn't doing anything, although it often indicates that, too. Anyways, project like this takes a lot time, I'd say...

Yeah, I didn't like the health system in that, either. But swimming was nice!
My newest mod - Commander Keen: Sunset: viewtopic.php?t=8568 | codename H.Y.E.N.A.

Don't worry I'm still here. Just been very busy as of late. Still don't have a finished beta to show yet. I did however try to make a nice video of what I have so far, but FRAPS doesn't want to make it at the correct resolution. (Its my fault really, my coding tricks the engine into thinking its a different resolution than it really is. For a number of reasons.) Anyway untill I can figure out how to fix this the vid will have to wait. Also sorry this is taking so long. I just have a tendacy to underestimate the number of things that will interfer with my free time.
