yeah robo unless the price is reduced sharply then no one will pay over 100 bucks for just the disc and manual. i would love to have a legit copy but i will not pay that amount of money for the game without the boxRoboBlue wrote:It doesn't even come with the box.

Someone was selling a Monster Bash CD on eBay for around that price, used. I politely asked if they'd lower their ridiculous price, and they were just like "OUR PRICES ARE FIRM. NON NEGOTIABLE"....
These CRAPPY eBay stores are selling used old games for over $20 a piece and it's disgusting that they actually make any business that way.
Just search for Monster Bash on eBay and you'll find 2 stores doing this same thing.
It sucks seeing such an important piece of my childhood in the hands of greedy idiots who have never played the game in their life.

I can and am willing to make disk images for anyone who wants them. Just one thing - I'm not giving out my address, so unless you want to do a cloak-and-dagger-style exchange, the above information is useless...Galaxieretter wrote:Is it even worth paying for a "legit" copy anymore? if you wanted to play it on a newer system and if the computer rejects the floppy drive you could always buy a usb floppy drive, i have tons of the old 3.5 inch disks at home so it would make sense for me to buy oneGalaxieretter wrote:Is it even worth paying for a "legit" copy anymore? I am sure I have some old floppy drives laying about, perhaps, but really.
I would do it as a collector and as, Rorie states, it's not worth it without the box.

Elaine: What’s that?
Guybrush: Never pay more than 20 bucks for a computer game.
Elaine: A what?
Guybrush: I don't know. I have no idea why I said that.

if you would like monster bash so badly you can pruchase and download it from the 3drealms store for us$5.99. the weak greenback is good for australians means we can both stuff from the u.s at discounted exchange rates. when i take my trip to hawaii in may 2011 and if the aussie dollar is still strong then roughly 1 aud per 0.90 usd. i will b taking a cash passport in aussie dollars i can still use it in the u.s with it not being in usd i will just get a better rate and not loose any aussie dollars due to currency fluctuationsParamultart wrote:Someone was selling a Monster Bash CD on eBay for around that price, used. Remember the good ol' days of copying stuff to floppy disks? :) I probably have the keen five original somewhere, but I can't tell the difference between it and one of the other hundred er so at least floppy's in the box downstairs. :)
