Keen 9 in two words: Not Bad.
Keen 9 in one sentence: Better than I expected, but still overhyped by certain members of the bb, who seemed to believe it would be DNF, Portal 2 and the Second Coming all rolled into one...

Super-short reviews!

Lufia for the DS was such a horrible initial experience that I didn't even bother exploring the first dungeon. Seriously, fucl that garg.

Ghost Trick (also for DS) is ace. Some tedious parts, but mostly great fun and really original.

Marathon Squadron - Levels are kinda short and they seem to all be filled with one color: gray. enemies are too few in some places and too ridiculous in others, and the terminal texts are full of typos, but still pretty fun.

Braid - Pure genius, and not as terribly hard as most other puzzle games I've played. Good physics engine, too.

Keen Dreams CGA: Wow, I almost forgot how absolutely terrible CGA games are. Still very interesting.

Keen 9: Good mod, although I don't think it's up to par with Keen 8. Better than Keen 5, though.

Ravenwood Fair: Refer to my thread for my thoughts on the game. :)

Dragon Quest V DS: Great characters but a somewhat disappointing conclusion; the main villain is literally never given any more story than "he's the big bad guy".
Golden Sun Dark Dawn: Good but easy gameplay and starts out with a good story, but this is quickly abandoned in favor of a sidequest that engulfs most of the plot of the game. I was very disappointed that the main villain never played any tangible part in the story (he never did anything), and his motives were never explained.

Mass Effect 2: Not a game. It's an interactive movie.
BotB: New robots! Stunning graphics! More fun than real life!
Farmerama: Piece o' garg. Not worth wasting those two minutes.
Dragonadopters: THIS IS FOR YOU GRIMSON

Mass Effect 2: Better than I expected. Really *is* an interactive movie..

Keen 9 AKA BotB: Surpassed what I was expecting.

Red Dead Redemption: Like Grand Theft Auto, but set in the early 1900s and with horses.

Let me try with games that I recently got into...

Psychonauts: Actually pretty good. How did I miss out on this? The Meat Circus is a pain in the neck, though.

Beyond Good and Evil: Good, but even after fixing some of the flickering, some areas still flicker. Apparently, the game also crashes at some point when you get a key, and the download link for the fix is broken. Seems like I'll have to get a different version to fully enjoy it.

Machinarium: Beautiful graphics. I love how the characters can communicate even one word being spoken though the entire game. The music is also incredible. Can be rather confusing, though.

Final Fantasy X: Beautiful music, beautiful cutscenes, fun gameplay, enjoyable characters, but somewhat disappointing, and at times the plot is a little to tragic for my tastes.

Earthbound: Trippy, and awesome. Period.

Dragon Quest VIII: Cute. The battle system reminds me of Earthbound. Didn't get too far into it due to distractions from other games, though...
