I'm just building a stone-slab house above the clouds. Got a beeeautiful entrance room and a cool-looking shack down there.
By the way, did you know that in Beta 1.5, snow and rain will return? Rain has many effects, you can find them on the minecraft wiki. Snow will be exactly the same like it was in Alpha, except for the fact that snowing depends on the biome you're in and it may be random.

Technically, at some point the map will start overriding itself the more you expand it, thus reaching a kind of limit. This won't happen until you've walked something like 1000x the distance between Sun and Earth, though :P

There's some YouTube videos of the "Far Lands", as they are called. Pretty stinking cool. But I don't want to crash my poor lappy. :P

I read on the wiki the map can be up to 8 times the Earth's size. No clue if the map generation starts degrading/changing as you go into the far lands, I'm looking for videos now. :)

In other news; made my first cake. ^_^

EDIT: wow.

Nope, maybe the error is at the server's side?

End of stream errors can be server side, but often they're caused by a bad client-server connection. Frequent symptoms of this are the inability to send chat messages, inability to break blocks etc. Keep trying, is all I can suggest.

Maybe the server is full? Dunno.
And it's pretty fun going around with a Keen skin on. It's amazing how many people recognize it. So spread into the Minecraft worlds and SPREAD THE LOVE OF KEEN! :D It's time to take over the world, or at least the Minecraft world!

In other news, my Mom made me uninstall Minecraft, as I was playing it far too much. :P

Really? My mom is just happy about it - she hates racing games and shooters, and those two are my fav genres. :p
Too bad I have a pi***ed version. I'd like to get myself a Keen skin.

You should totally get yourself the real version. Playing on servers is far more fun than playing by yourself. And the Keen skin is awesome, too. ;)

Does a pirated version even update correctly? We got loads of cool new stuff in the update today, like powered minecart rails and weather. Can't wait! (Actually, I have to wait until the end of the semester...)

But yeah, I was getting too distracted from my studies. Not a good thing.
