I have just wanted to say sorry for what has happened to the thread, too. Let's get back to discussing about the current MOD, in terms of its contents.
Yeah, I am sorry too, and from now on, I will try to not threadcrap like I did.

Well, I really don't care about the numbers.
I just want to use in this trilogy to be easy to know that it's a prequel.
I don't mind changing them to "episode -3, -2 and -1.
And szemi can do the 0, and everyone can be happy.

By the way, I forgot to mention the Billy Blaze won't have the pogo in this game (since hes yet to find it in Keen 1).
If you press the pogo button, Billy will just do a little stomp.
It will be the only way to kill the enemy replacing the Skypest (that will be a controlled remote plane).

If anyone continues to discuss the issue of episode numbers I'm going to snip out all of the offending posts and lock them up. As has been said, if you insist on using episode numbers you're going to have to deal with the fact that duplicates will exist. That fact that there was already a Keen 7 and Keen 8 (happily) didn't stop Ceilick. Anyways, this topic is for the discussion of episode -3. Stick to it.

Now that sounds really cool

Come on, this is extremely childish now... -_-
A number is a number, who cares? It seems that nothing is really set in stone anyway. Just chill, honestly...

I'm sorry Flaose, but I can't resist this...
dibs on every numbered keen that hasn't been done yet, including negatives and decimals
Dibs on all complex numbers. (Keen 3i coming up!)

I am interested in how you intend to remove the pogo; patch, or just make the pogo height very small?
What you really need, not what you think you ought to want.

I removed the pogo with a patch I found on the forum (posted by you, Levellass :D ), but I changed some things:
The original patch is this one:

#Turn pogo into small jump
%patch $2FF7C $0091W $0089W $0003W $0000W $0000W $0032W $0000W $0000W
$0B800B5BRL $0B8014A9RL $0B801C48RL $11A2W
%patch $2FF9A $0091W $0089W $0003W $0000W $0000W $0032W $0000W $0000W
$0B800B5BRL $0B8014A9RL $0B801C48RL $11A2W
%patch $2FFB8 $0091W $0089W $0003W $0000W $0000W $0032W $0000W $0000W
$0B800B5BRL $0B8014A9RL $0B801C48RL $11A2W

And I changed to:

%patch $2FF7C $0094W $0094W $0003W $0000W $0000W $0032W $0000W $0000W
$0B80045CRL $0B8014A9RL $00000000L $09E6W
%patch $2FF9A $0091W $0089W $0003W $0000W $0000W $0032W $0000W $0000W
$0B800B5BRL $0B8014A9RL $0B801C48RL $11A2W
%patch $2FFB8 $0094W $0094W $0003W $0000W $0000W $0032W $0000W $0000W
$0B80045CRL $0B8014A9RL $00000000L $09E6W

It's pretty messed up, but get the job done :)

I'm posting a video to show some enemies stuff.
Again, don't pay attention to the background. It's just some tests that I'm doing.
Oh, and ignore the Wormouth turning into another Keen :P
That happens because I used his attack to give animation to Keen slingshot. I won't be using Wormouth in the game because of that.

Oh my God, that just made me so happy. This looks awesome so far, great job on all the houses and the earthly setting in general! The only little quip I have, I'd change the trees a little bit. The trunks look great, perfectly shaded. However, the leaves could stand to have the shading a wee bit. Currently they don't really look like leaves, it kinda looks like a big green fishbowl. Take a look this tree. Yes I know it's nowhere near EGA, but bear with me.

This one only uses three colours for the leaves so it's VERY comparable.

As this does, try to make the light come from the top, and more actively use the dark shades to give depth. Really take a look with the zoom tool. It's amazing what you can do with so few colours as long as you make EFFECTIVE use of those colours. Again this is just food for thought so feel free to ignore me haha :p

Yes, the trees are a little weird.
My brother made them trying to look like the tree besides the Keen house that appeared on the keen 4 intro story. But He told me that he didn't like them and hes going to change them.
That's why I said to don't pay attention to the background, because many things there are going the be changed. Like that epic fail grass.

Thanks for your opinion and that tree pic. That will be a great reference. :)

Wow this looks cool! Keen as an ordinary kid (well, sorta) looking forward to that.

Can't help but wonder, during this episode, will Keen be working on his Bean with Bacon megarocket? It would be cool, collecting the items Keen needs to build the rocket as he goes along...

Some of the enemy work here is outstanding! I reckon I'll have a bit of competition up against me for my suburbs mod.
