I love the characters. The name Secret Spaceship Club sounds very much like something that would be found in a Keen game too. I wish you luck and hope you won't give up. :)

Yeah, good quality IT hardware doesn't always come cheap - that breakdown makes the Kickstarter goal sound quite low.

Also, let it be known that I am like number 69. *sniggers*

Ah well, looks like it isn't going to fund, but for fun, we could fill up the top slots, just to feel like a moneybags, and game the Kickstarter in the last 40 minutes, heh! Why not? GO! :D

Tom,

Sorry about the failure, I was one of the backers. I think a more community aspect is needed to fund a successful Kickstarter (I helped with quite a few of the Sierra On-Line ones, which have all been funded).

But anyway, I'm glad you're still going to make the project, and leaving donations open. Maybe you can try again on KS later?

Finally, we appreciate all you've given us, I was playing Keen 4 on my Nintendo 3DS this week, so technology has allowed us to do crazy things. Thanks for the memories, and thanks for the new ones we'll get with your new projects too.

So were there a dopefish in the video or not? I couldn't find one.

My question is, if I donate $25 now as in kickstarter, will it be treated like a purchase order, so I can get a copy of the game when it's done?

I do believe I've heard something about a DOS emulator for the DS. It runs most games including Keen.

"Daddy" Keen, you need a flash cart called the SuperCard DSTWO, and the emulator DSx86.

The final version has a scaler so you can fit the window in the screen, and is beautiful and playable! I beat Keen 4 on Normal last night, and was even able to beat some Keen 4 Hard levels without saving, which I'd never tried to do (thanks to this forum for inspiration).

I should post a video, but you can imagine what it's like. Handheld Keen that's not GBC Keen is pretty cool, though. :)
