Hmm... I never really watched the show, though I can sympathize; I felt the same way two years ago when they announced that this was going to be the last season of Battlestar: Galactica.

Psh... you guys are nerds. :p
I've never watched Doctor Who*, but I understand.

*Fun fact: I've also never listened to The Who or read Horton Hears a Who.

YOU NEVER LISTENED TO THE WHO OR READ HORTON HEARS A WHO???!!?!

Well, actually I can't say for 100% that I've read Horton Hears a Who. I saw the old cartoon one, but I'm not positive I read the book. I have not seen the new cg one.

Lol. Well, it was mostly a joke. I think I've read the book at some point (although I can't remember). And I've most likely heard The Who on Guitar Hero or something, although I really couldn't name a song if I tried. :crazy

I had read sometime ago that Davies was going to drop Doctor Who to move onto other projects. I'm pleased to see there are at least another two seasons to look forward to under his guidance.

Matt Smith looks like a vampire.

Also, I just stumbled across this amusing article.

You're pleased Davies is staying on? I can't wait for Moffat to take over - after all, he wrote all my favourite episodes - The Empty Child, The Girl in the Fireplace, Blink, etc. I think the episodes are going to get *much* more interesting when he takes over!

Ah, I guess I missed the part where Moffat was going to succeed him. In that case, I'll look forward to that too! :crazy

Well, I've seen an episode of Dr. Who now, and I can honestly say I don't see why people thinks it's the most spectacular thing ever.

It's all right; but it's not the greatest thing I've ever seen like some people make it out to be. Perhaps more episodes are needed?

Personally I only watch the old ones like with the 4th Doctor, Baker (I never watch the new ones, they just don't feel like the classic ones but that's expected).

And it's hokey as heck, but when you get past the very bad special effects and some of the other hokey stuff about it, they can have good stories.
