Ten minutes and twenty-one seconds. :) He abuses death in Level 2 to exit the level quickly. The way he controls pogo height is really something to see!

Woah woah woah, 2:03 and 2:28 blatant God mode. Still, that's some impressive pogo control. (Audio doesn't work in Chrome for me, does he say anything about using cheats?)

He could have easily earned an extra three to five seconds to his total speed if he didn't keep accidentally pausing the game with the drop-down screen periodically.

660MB video :bloody

Are there any other, smaller demos of the tricks he pulled?

I think he's doing this towards the end of a level so the game doesn't halt waiting for the "level completed" sound to finish playing?

What it shows is that you can get better results with sound effects turned off (not in Vorticons if you wonder).

Apparently dropping the menu like that just before the exits is supposed to make the map level cache faster? I don't know. It sounds like confirmation bias, or odd ritualistic behavior, but that's what he said in chat when I asked him about it, so... *shrug*

Wow yeah this is really impressive.

This is the same guy that set the previous Keen 4 world record a year or so ago right? How much does this one shave off?

Amazing run - very impressive.

Isn't using the pogo incessantly in level 1 faster than what Cosmo is doing (walking)?

Glitching =/= Cheating.
That's all part of the art that makes speed-runs so cool.

If you don't enter cheat-codes, I think it's perfectly acceptable to take shortcuts.
