Colander Ken
Indeed, sadly due to the limitations of my talent I was unable to muster anything more than a pale imitation of our great work.Paramultart wrote:Colander Ken is no match for Captain Ken, guardian of the french fries, with his 31.4 IQ.
That post is a work of art. I am truly humbled that you put such effort into reviewing my work. It is not the review I wanted, but the review we all deserve.Plasma Captain wrote:Colander Ken: A Review

Reading all these posts on how amazing it is, I got this urge to try it but it seems my memories of how to play modded Commander Keen games has fallen into oblivion.. I get this "Missing a text file..." error. What am I doing wrong?
(also if anyone remembers me: I never left, I've just been a really good lurker.. )

It's ok Szemi, you worked on this, you had time to get used to its magnificence. This is a big problem with modding; sometimes you release things that new players can't get through because you as the designer know every level by heart and it seems so easy to you. Sometimes you get really enthused about something only for it to fall flat. In the end I think those who make something may be the worst people to judge its worth.szemi wrote:I wouldn't give 10 for this mod at all. (Even if I helped for Levellass, which I did with delight.)
Also, it's bonfire night tonight, hurrah!

But what I said doesn't mean I hate your mod.
