Huh, and it didn't even have proper grammar. Guy's more forgiving of you than Gravity.

Part 2 is up!

Well, I read part 2. It's very helpful, and it inspired me to insert some easter eggs for my mod. :)

I died from the accusation that all this modern foob even remotely follows Tom Hall's common sense.

Everyone thinks they're the successor of greatness, whenever they're not claiming greatness for themselves. (What's that Paris Hilton? you never asked for handouts growing up? Gee... I wonder why? Self made that's what you are!)

For this we can be glad Keen did not make the jump to 3D.

How could you say that when clearly if anyone was able to make a proper 3D Keen game back than, that would be id Software?

True dat. Accolade's 2D Bubsy games were already lackluster. I used to wonder why I didn't bother making it to the end of those games when I was a kid. It seemed like another good platformer game on the surface, but something was... off... and somehow I was more content to replay Rocket Knight/Sparkster again and again on hard than attempt to beat bubsy 2 just once. Thank you, internet of the present day, for teaching me why! :dopekeen

If anyone could have done a proper 3D Keen, it's ID. But I'd also say the best people to make Sonic The Hedgehog go to 3D is Sonic Team, and.... well... :o

I actually like the two Sonic Adventure games a lot. Some of that may just be nostalgia, but I think they got the fast-paced gameplay down right with the least wonky camera of the 3D Sonic games. Maybe id could have pulled out a couple good 3D Keen games before succumbing to buggy gameplay and Final Fantasy cliches?

Uh... Sonic Adventure has a just about passable camera, 2 somehow made it worse. More recent Sonic games are handling it much better, although I've never thought it was great in any Sonic game (that I've played or seen in action).
