Wait what?

Sweden now has a very broad rape definition, and if people are willing to report rape, the number would soar in any country. A lot of people get raped, but don't report it to the police, and only reported rape cases appear on statistics, y'know.

It is not unfair to correlate Muslim immigration with the rise of violent crime and rape in Sweden.

Different cultures, different standards, different rules. Right?

http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/5195/sweden-rape

"Forty years after the Swedish parliament unanimously decided to change the formerly homogenous Sweden into a multicultural country, violent crime has increased by 300% and rapes by 1,472%. Sweden is now number two on the list of rape countries, surpassed only by Lesotho in Southern Africa."

This is why multiculturalism is death.

European countries that Europeans built are the birthright of Europeans, and ONLY Europeans.

While unreported rape is a serious issue, it's not an issue that I even remotely hinted at.
Why it's being brought up now is beyond me.

I mean, yeah... If some guy in a turban holds a knife to your throat in a back alley, there's probably a higher chance of them being reported at a higher rate than drunk Swedish boyfriends.
(But from what I hear, Swedish men are very respectful of their women... Unlike Muslims...)

There's practically nothing in the news except the refugee crisis... The way they're handling it is laughable: start a gargload of refugee centres, keep the people there while they sort out who can stay and who is sent back (a process that is lengthy and probably unable to prove who is really fleeing for their life and who's just an opportunist), then help the people find apartments, pay part of the rent if it's too high (and it definitely will be, there's a shortage of affordable apartments even for natives, and landlords will cash in as much as they can if the government's paying), and well, give out welfare till the end of days. I'm not against it, as such. I don't really care, since I think everything we have now will be destroyed by the climate change. But this approach nevertheless doesn't seem right, every country needs to integrate those people in some better way than government sponsored welfare. What that could be, I have no concrete idea, but something ought to be invented soon because the flow of people isn't going to stop.

I'm not against multiculturalism but I acknowledge (based on what I have seen so far, I can be proved wrong) that it doesn't suit this country. I hazard to guess that we won't be enriching our society by taking in thousands of uneducated, war-traumatized people who have completely different cultures and religions and languages. (This is of course not true of everyone, but of many it is.) I just can't see it working in a place that's stubbornly hostile even against its own citizens, where even next door neighbors that are alike in every respect don't greet each other. But anyway, nobody said (but many politicians comfortably leave it unsaid) that this flow of refugees is making Europe better, it means harder times and more austerity for the European poor and for the newcomers alike, most of whom will be joining those poor. Garg gets worse before it gets even worse.

If Germany can afford to toy with the Greek economy as it has (ploughing billions in then not letting the economy recover before demanding it back, then acting surprised when more money is needed) it can probably afford to provide support for some people in the shorter term. Bear in mind the refugees will contribute to the economy as soon as they can - people don't like to just sit around all day on welfare. (Yes, there are extreme examples, but as a rule for the bulk of the population.)

I make that first point somewhat flippantly, but it's just to make a point of how flexible the German economy is. The money grabbing landlords are an unfortunate fact of any deregulated housing market, and it would be great to see Germany enforce housing valuations or something to keep prices down (unlikely). BUT, the spending would, for once, be a form of stimulus in a country obsessed with austerity. Sadly it goes to those who can already afford to own at least two properties. I don't think it's the refugees who are the major problem, rather the thing the refugees will probably be ultimately blamed for: a bad, super-deregulated, free market capitalist economy. (No, I'm not against capitalism, I'm against the modern trend of deregulation = good and any kind of socialism = bad.)

Governments don't need to have balanced budgets all of the time, just controlled budgets. At the moment though, as you say KeenRush, there doesn't seem to be any real planning on that front. But people are people, and what's the point of governments if they can't look after people in need?

Let me get this straight... Dead immigrant kid floats ashore and the international media goes bananas, but little European girls are raped by immigrants and no one bats an eye?

https://youtu.be/X9cid-8eW3g

The future of Europe is the history of Africa; for with African immigrants comes "African justice".

Just look what they did to South Africa. That place sucks now. "Hurr, Mandella is a heeerooo... Y no one care he dyeeee?"

there are some jewish people in power in europe (uhh the only one i can remember right now is Barbara Spector in sweden) who openly talks about wanting to wipe out the white race.
besides isn't all the crap going on in the middle east israel's fault? let them take in the immigrants. oh thats right, i forgot, its totally fine for israel to be racist! :p

Someone's not familiar with the concept of a "welfare queen".

I am honestly disturbed by some of the racist depictions (i.e. wiivn's post) on this thread. I'm not sure if he was kidding or not, but if someone made those images and were serious, they are pretty screwed up individuals.

Yes, Para, it would be unfair to correlate the two. You can read for yourself why rape statistics increased in Sweden after legal changes (including a unique legal procedure that makes each instance of a sexual crime a separate offense, thus inflating the hell out of their rape statistics) here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rape_in_Sweden.

Yes, it was a term made up by Republicans (specifically Reagan) to try to deprive governmental support from people who need it, so those financial resources can go to more important things, like tax breaks for the rich. For instance, to help them buy an extra set of diamond studded gold plates --you know, the important things in life. The things that make a society truly successful.

Keening_Product is spot on here, it's not surprising why people end up on welfare for their lives. In all cases, they are partly to blame, but again the dominant thing to which we can attribute blame is the system that has been actively influenced by the powerful to disenfranchise them and, where ever possible, exploit them.
